Whale Watching

(Seasonal - peak season June and July)

• View the northern migration of Humpback Whales and Southern Right Whales.

• Around 2000 whales make this journey within sight of the coast each year leaving their winter feeding grounds in Antarctica heading north for birthing grounds in the warmer waters of the Great Barrier Reef.
• Many of these passing animals weigh up to 30 tones and are pregnant.
• Enjoyable and safe - without interference to the whales, allowing them their "personal space".
• Twin levels including exterior and upper decks offering panoramic views.
